Extension of Incompletes

If you require an extension of incomplete, please discuss with course instructor and submit the Extension of Incomplete Request Form after you have agreed on a new deadline for the completion of any missed work.

In accordance with the By-Laws of the University SenateThe student must complete all outstanding work on a schedule determined by the instructor, and by the end of the third week of the following semester. Exception to this deadline is made by the Dean of Students or designee with the consent of the Instructor.

Steps to Take:

  • Determine date of extension with the course instructor
  • Acquire approval email from instructor that acknowledges extension and date of extension deadline
  • Submit the Extension of Incomplete Form
